Susan Jewkes Allen

Founder, Director l Lead Teacher

Susan Jewkes Allen is a coach, educator, and longtime leader in psychosynthesis education whose work is informed by a professional background in transpersonal psychology, psychotherapy, and clinical and community social work. She brings more than thirty years of experience accompanying individuals and groups through growth, change, and purposeful life transitions.

Her work has been shaped by a broad commitment to human development and well-being: physical, emotional, social, economic, and spiritual. She has worked in clinical, university, public health, nonprofit, and organizational settings, with experience in supervision, teaching, consulting, curriculum development, leadership development, and health promotion.

Susan’s teaching and consulting work has brought her into relationship with individuals, groups, and organizations across cultures and countries, including Canada, the Netherlands, Ghana, South Africa, Sri Lanka, Portugal, the Bahamas, and the United Kingdom. This global dimension continues to inform Pi’s emerging identity as an international learning community.

Through Synthesis Center San Francisco, and now through the Psychosynthesis Institute (Pi), Susan develops and guides psychosynthesis training for coaches, practitioners, educators, and helping professionals.

Her work brings together transpersonal psychology, clinical depth, practical coaching, cross-cultural learning, and a commitment to mentoring the next generation of facilitators, practitioners, and teachers.

As Founder and Director of Pi, Susan continues to serve as Lead Teacher while helping to create the structures, resources, and shared teaching capacity needed to carry the work forward.

Her purpose is to steward psychosynthesis into its next chapter: rooted in the lineage of Roberto Assagioli, responsive to these times, globally engaged, and increasingly held through the contributions and leadership of others.
