Tools for Personal & Social Transformation

Psychosynthesis Transpersonal Coach Training

A professional training in psychosynthesis coaching for personal, professional, and social transformation.

Psychosynthesis Coach Training

Our Psychosynthesis Coach Training is a live, experiential training in transpersonal coaching, grounded in the principles and practices of psychosynthesis.

The training supports coaches, helping professionals, educators, practitioners, creatives, and those drawn to the relationship between personal development, purpose, will, and social transformation.

Our next cohort begins in October 2026.

Cohorts are intentionally kept small to support depth, reflection, connection, and meaningful engagement.

The program combines live webinars with online and on-demand readings, resources, discussion, audio and video materials, personal reflection, and co-guiding practice.

The monthly rhythm generally includes:

  • Two 2-hour live webinars
  • Additional 90-minute webinars during the middle phase of the training
  • On-demand learning, reflection, and co-guiding practice between sessions

This training is part of our wider Psychosynthesis Transpersonal Programs as Synthesis Center San Francisco transitions into the Psychosynthesis Institute (Pi).

Doctrinal Neutrality

Roberto Assagioli intended psychosynthesis to be independent of any religious dogma or identification. He understood psychosynthesis as both scientific and spiritual, while remaining neutral with regard to specific metaphysical or religious positions.  As he wrote:

“Psychosynthesis takes people to the door of the mystery, but the responsibility of taking the next step is their choice. I wish to clarify that psychosynthesis, as a scientific conception and as bio-psychotherapeutic activity, does not take any specific position, neither metaphysical nor religious; it bestows the greatest value to these activities of the human spirit, but in no way does it try to invade their field; it arrives at the threshold of the mystery, and there it stops.”

~ Roberto Assagioli, “Psychosomatic Medicine & Bio-psychosynthesis,” Rome, 1967

We do not promote any specific religious or spiritual doctrine in our programs. Participants from all spiritual, religious, secular, and philosophical backgrounds are welcome.

Each person is free to define transpersonal experience, understanding, and practice in their own way. Consistent with this, we believe that every person should be treated with dignity and respect.

We invite everyone participating in live webinars, online sharing, discussion, and co-guiding practice to bring goodwill, skillful will, kindness, and acceptance. We ask participants to respect the privacy of personal and professional information shared within the learning community and to come aligned with purpose, presence, and a willingness to give time and energy to the work.

Our commitment is to respect the autonomy and self-determination of our team, students, and clients. This commitment is held alongside our responsibility to maintain a safe and ethical learning environment.

Inclusivity

Roberto Assagioli developed psychosynthesis as “a dynamic and synthetic conception of the human being.” He described self-realization on the personal level as a stage toward inter-individual “right relations” and, ultimately, toward the unification of humanity.

As psychosynthesis coaches, our work with clients includes accompanying the journey of self-realization as both we and those we serve continue to move toward what Assagioli described, in stages, as “the psychosynthesis of humanity.”

We value and appreciate differences among people, including those of race, gender, sexual orientation, ethnicity, national origin, functional ability, socio-economic status, age, religious or spiritual identification, and other aspects that comprise identity.

We believe that a commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion supports human growth and development and enhances the quality of life for all. Continuing to expand our own awareness and deepen our understanding of cultural, social, racial, and individual diversity is an ongoing commitment.

Our work is a continuing process of infusing these commitments into our programs and of becoming an anti-racist, inclusive organization in service of right human relations and the wider psychosynthesis of humanity.

We are actively engaged in projects that seek to make psychosynthesis more accessible and responsive to a new global generation, with resources and an orientation that support more equitable, diverse, and inclusive psychosynthesis initiatives.

We recognize this as a large and ongoing vision, one that requires strength of purpose, persistence, patience, and skillful action. It asks us to draw upon goodwill, courage, and transpersonal will as we participate in the long work of personal, relational, and social transformation.
